What to Do if You Can't Connect? |
|
Go to FLATMySQL.com
Unfortunately, there is not much that we can help you with if you are unable to connect. If you arrived at the opening screen of the admin tool means that the DBI Perl module has been found... otherwise, you would have received an error from the script. If you receive an "access denied for user," then the script attempted to connect, but MySQL rejected the connection because either the database name, user name, or password were incorrect. Check case carefully, since your User ID's and passwords are case sensitive (databases generally are not). If you have a virtual account, contact your ISP and ask them why you can't connect to your database. If you are able to load the initial login page, but get series 500 errors from the script when trying to connect to a database, then there is a chance that the mysql dbd is not installed. We are not able to help you install modules or if you experience problems relating to connecting to the MySQL server itself. | |
